ABSTRACTS

ISDS warmly welcomes abstract submissions for the 41st Annual Meeting. Please read the submission guidelines before submitting an abstract.

ONLINE ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be submitted online via the website only. Abstracts submitted by e-mail will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts submission deadline: July 31, 2022
  • Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered
  • Presentation Type: Abstracts may be submitted for oral or e-poster presentation.
  • Topics:
    • Oncologic Surgery and Management
    • Aesthetic Surgery and Management
  • A maximum of 8 abstracts in each topic category will be selected for oral presentations which will take place September 23, 2022 from 13:30-14:30. If not accepted as an oral abstract, you may be asked to present your abstract as an e-poster which will be viewed 17:30-18:30 the same day. The best oral abstract in each category will be awarded at the Saturday Gala Celebration.
  • Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
  • The same person may serve as presenting author on up to 1 abstracts.
  • Presenting authors must be registered participants.
  • Corresponding authors will be notified regarding the status of their abstracts and presentation type by July 29th 2022.
  • Instructions for preparation of presentations will be made available on the Congress website.

Before you begin, please prepare the following information:

  • Presenting author’s contact details:
    • Full first and family name(s)
    • Email address
    • Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city state (if relevant), country
    • Phone number
  • Author and co-authors’ details. Please include full first and family name for all co-authors.
  • Abstract title – must be in Sentence case and limited to 25 words.
  • Abstract text – limited to 350 words including acknowledgements. Please do not include author names and affiliations in the uploaded document.
  • Abstract topic – Make sure to select the abstract topic.
  • Abstracts should clearly state:
    • Background
    • Aims
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusion
  • Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.
  • Use generic names of drugs. The presentation must be balanced and contain no commercial promotional content.
  • Submissions may not contain patient names, hospital ID numbers or other identifying information.
  • The submission form allows you to store your abstract as a DRAFT. After the deadline if not submitted, drafts will be deleted.
  • Click on the SUBMIT button at the end of the process in order to save your abstract. After submission, changes will be possible only via email.
  • Please contact us if you have not received confirmation that your abstract has been submitted.
  • Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
